Late to the table with this weeks Six on Saturday – on with the show.
I have however been gardening today and Friday – Hostas that are in pots have had the spring tidy up. Weeding, pruning, deadheading. Birds flying around at break neck speed. Spring is here. Beautiful day.

1) Tulip –
I may have lost the name to this but it and the others in container of these brighten the garden

2) Narcissus Double with peach petals.
This is amazing Narcissus double variety. Last a while too unless the weather changes again!

Tulip, Red and yellow

3) Acer palmatum
This acer has served well at producing wonder foliage through the seasons and this year starts of very too.

4) Hydrangea ‘Vanille Fraise’
Shows how plants are getting a growth spurt in this warmer weather. There was hardly any showing from this shrub until last few days now it’s growing away madly.

5) Polemonium ‘Bressingham Blue’
Yet another plant showing signs of great growth and these (actually just one, so far) small red flowers. This should do quite well.

6) Potentilla ‘Mrs Wilmott’
A few weeks a go this was just a small mound of green leaf now flowers are beginning bloom. Early days but have high hopes for this plant.
