Continuing the idea to show the garden’s development. I will include picture view or views of the garden from weekly photo(s), from various angles as I am able. I will, so far, only include the back garden as this is the garden in need of developing into a garden again.
It is approximately 24 metres (80ft) (revised) long and 9m (30ft) wide. There’s brick garage/store and wooden shed which takes up a fair bit of the land. With a greenhouse at the bottom end of garden which is over shadowed by next door’s plum tree. There are flowering Cherry Tree and a Silver Birch Tree. With numerous shrubs. Aspect, north-facing from back of the house.

It’s been three weeks since the last posting about the development and changes to the garden. It’s a slow process for planting as I’ve the dreaded bindweed situation blighting the borders and lawn, and everywhere. However, there’s been considerable difference from the last few months. Overall, there’s a radical change to the border which I can see there’s likely to need some movement of plants in the future. The lawn will need a major amount of work getting to some sort of more grass than moss and weeds! A job for the autumn. Whilst I am constantly walking on this grass/lawn there’s not any need to do it sooner. I did scarify the lawn a few months back though. The photo below is from Friday 25th June 2021 however, the lower photo is from 4th June 2021.
