Convolvulus, bindweed. Such a pernicious weed that it’s taking time to get rid of this unwanted brute. The flowers look good for a day. However, the fact that it binds itself to any plants in sight is big problem. I’ve been battling with removing it without too much damage to my existing established shrubs, gradually I’m getting there. Just have to keep an eye out for it appearing from next door where it originated from. Of course my lack of tending the garden over the years past has not helped. It’s so bad it’s been growing in the lawn!
